Letter from Chris Cowles to the Segals 5/17/99 Dear Mr. Segal, While attending my younger brother's graduation from Rice this past weekend, I was shocked and saddened to hear of Anton's passing. My parents and I would like to convey our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Though I did not keep up with Anton beyond High School, his zest for life was contagious, and he possessed the all too rare quality of making everyone he interacted with a better person.
